Orly Airport
Orly (ORY) is the second most important airport in Paris behind Charles de Gaulle. In 2009 more than 25 million passengers passed through its terminals.
Orly Airport has two terminals: South and West. If you want to move between both terminals you can do it for free in the Orlyval, an automatic train.
How to get to Paris from Orly
If you want maximum comfort, avoid problems with the language and do not worry about everything, it is best to hire a transfer service. By booking a transfer a chauffeur will wait for you at the airport terminal with a sign to your name and will take you to the hotel in the shortest possible time.
Cab
The price of a taxi from Orly Airport to the center of Paris is about € 70. These rates are increased by 15% between 17:00 and 10:00 hours. This supplement also applies on Sundays and public holidays.
RER C + Bus Paris par le train
Orly Airport is connected to the Pont de Rungis station by the "Paris par le train" bus. At this station it is possible to take the RER line C to reach the center. The total journey time is about 35 minutes.
The price of the combined ticket is € 6.85. It is possible to use the Passe Navigo or the Paris Visite Card of zones 1-4.
RER B + Orlyval
The Orlyval train connects the Orly Airport with the RER station Antony, where for line B. The total journey time from the airport to the center is about 33 minutes.
The price of the whole ticket is € 12.05. In this case, it is not possible to use the Passe Navigo for the Orlyval, but the Paris Visite Card.
Orlybus
The Orlybus bus connects Orly with the Denfert-Rochereau station in Montparnasse. At this station it is possible to take line B of RER and lines 4 and 6 of metro.
The approximate journey time is 30 minutes and the rate is € 7.70. The transport cards are valid.
The Orlybus is a good option if you are staying near the destination station. Otherwise, it is cheaper and faster to take the RER line C and to make transshipment to the meter.
City buses
There are 3 lines of Urban Bus that connect Orly with Paris. The price of the ticket is € 2, being the cheapest way to get to the center.
Line 183: Communicate Orly with the Porte de Choisy station (metro line 7 and tram line 3). The journey time is 50 minutes.
Line 285: Communicate Orly with the RER station Juvisy and the metro station Louis Aragon (line 7). The journey is 15 minutes.
Line 292: Reach Rungis International Market. This line is uninteresting for tourism.
Bus Les Cars Air France
Air France has several routes from Orly to the center of Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport. The price is quite high (12.50 euros) and not worth it.
The destination is Disneyland?
To get from Orly Airport to Disneyland, it is best to take a taxi or book our transfer service. Reserving the transfer in advance the driver will wait for you in the arrivals area of the airport with a sign with the name that you indicate in the reservation.
